Please join us for welcome drinks & catered appetizers from 6:30-9:30 at Woody's Crab House in North East, MD! Drink offerings will include beer, wine & orange crushes (a classic MD cocktail with vodka & fresh citrus). Woody's is a fairly casual spot but we'll be coming from the rehearsal dressed semi-formally. Please wear whatever you'd like!
Please arrive between 3:00 - 3:30 for the 3:45 ceremony.
There are lots of grassy areas at the venue as well as a dock & some little beaches if you're up for a short stroll - you may want to consider this when choosing shoes :)
There will NOT be a shuttle to the venue, but there WILL be a shuttle from the venue back to the hotels (Best Western, Comfort Inn, and Holiday Inn) at the end of the night.
It's about a 15/20 minute drive from the hotels to the venue. Ubers can be hit or miss since it's a small town. We recommend pre-booking an Uber or Taxi service to get to the venue. The towns taxi service is called Key Lime Taxi ((410) 996-4950). We also recommend carpooling to the venue. There is plenty of parking where the ceremony & reception are taking place & there will be a venue employee there to direct parking. Overnight parking is allowed & encouraged for safety! The venue is private & gated making it a very secure spot to leave your car. You will have until 4pm on Sunday to pick up your car.
The shuttle will load up at the end of the reception at 10:00pm
For those who wish to keep the party going, the shuttle will make a stop at a local bar, the Nauti Goose, on the way back to the hotels. The shuttle will return for pickup at the Nauti Goose at 1am for the final ride back to each hotel.
Alanna & Andrew will be hanging out at the venue on Sunday :) Please feel free to come hang anytime between 9am & 3pm or even just drop in to say goodbye before you hit the road! There is a dock & some beaches - we'll be hanging out by the water & kayaking (weather permitting). Don't forget a bathing suit & towel! We will have some light snacks & anticipate having leftover bevs as well but feel free to bring whatever you'd like to eat/drink. You'll buzz in at the venue gate and say you're with the Gangloff/Tonra wedding.
